Type A True Round Fire Dampers

ASX Type A true round fire dampers are UL and ULC listed for installation in walls, floors and partitions with a fire rating of less than 2 hours.  The Type A fire damper is constructed with the damper framed the same size as the duct size and includes the blade stack and edge seals within the air stream.  Typical installation is in a low pressure (less than 3" w..) system.

ASX true round fire dampers may be installed vertically or horizontally in static systems (EARA) that shut down in the event of fire or dynamic systems (EHRA) that continue to operate in the event of fire.
