Combination Fire/Smoke Corridor Dampers - Class I and Class II Crimped 3V Blade

Combination fire/smoke dampers are used to prevent the passage of both fire and smoke, to be installed at locations that are designated as both fire barriers and smoke barriers.  ASX combination fire/smoke corridor dampers (models EFVA and EGVA) are UL, ULC and State of California Fire Marshall listed.

Combination fire/smoke dampers are available with a Class I or Class II leakage rating.  ASX Class I EF series dampers provide a maximum leakage of 8 cfm per square foot at 4.0 inches static pressure.  ASX Class II EG series dampers provide a maximum leakage of 20 cfm per square foot at 4.0 inches static pressure.

Air Specialties Express combination fire/smoke dampers are provided with a damper sleeve or optional side plate.  Numerous accessories are available with combination dampers, including retaining angles, transitions, smoke detectors, remote control boxes, micro switch packages and STO/R or DTO/R (single and double thermostat override).  Fire/smoke dampers are available with electric (120v, 230v or 4v) or pneumatic (25 PSI ) actuators.

ASX models EFVA and EGVA corridor dampers have been designed and tested to exceed all UL, NFPA, UBC and City of Los Angeles requirements for corridor dampers installed in tunnel corridor ceiling constructions.
